From Plans to Perfection: The Treehouse.

Back in February 2018, our Garden of Eden dream was taking shape, but we needed reinforcements.
Sure, we could have done it alone, but patience isn’t exactly our strong suit.
Enter Workaway: a platform connecting travellers with hospitality in exchange for help. It was a match made in heaven!
We opened our doors in February 2018 (and our spare apartment) to a steady stream of volunteers. In just two and a half years, over 120 amazing people passed through our little slice of paradise, each leaving their mark.
Our only rule? Own your project from start to finish. We wanted creative freedom, not micromanagement.
In March, an Italian architect named Paula joined us. She had a vision: a treehouse nestled among our towering pines. We were sceptical – a month seemed too short for such a big project. But Paula was determined, sketching out plans for a structure that wouldn’t harm our beloved trees.
Enter Nick and Noah, passionate German carpenters. Together, they formed the dream team.
The foundation for the treehouse was laid on April 9, 2018, just before Paula left. Nick and Noah with their meticulous German precision and a dash of creative flair, turned Paula’s vision into reality. It took months of hard work, but the result was nothing short of magical. By mid-July, the initial structure was complete.
They didn’t stop there. As the treehouse took shape, they realized its potential.
A bathroom below, a shower overlooking the valley – this was becoming a treehouse extraordinaire!
An American artist joined the crew, adding the finishing touches to create a truly unique space.
Today, our treehouse is a showstopper. It’s a testament to the power of community, creativity, and a whole lot of hard work.
It’s more than just a treehouse; it’s a piece of living art that continues to amaze everyone who visits.
Who would have thought a simple idea could turn into such an incredible reality?
