“Maybe”: A Journey Through Belief and Transformation.
Many, many years ago, I wrote a poem titled “Maybe.”
It was a heartfelt exploration, asking difficult questions like, “Maybe you imagined your life differently?” and delving into various life aspects such as career, relationships, and hobbies.
The poem culminated in an empowering message:
“But maybe you can still change, you can still lead the life you dream of…” urging readers to take proactive steps toward transformation.
Years later, this poem became a tool to promote my book “Living by Design.”
We created a compelling video clip of the poem, ending with an offer for a free copy of the book.
This marked a significant phase where my belief system began to evolve.
When I first wrote “Maybe,” I firmly believed in being the “captain of my ship,” that I alone created my reality.
However, as I delved deeper into spirituality, I realized I couldn’t pinpoint the “I” that controlled my life.
This led me to accept a profound truth: “Life IS.”
Over time, my acceptance grew into gratitude for the way life unfolds, acknowledging that every choice and decision was part of a larger cosmic dance.
Reflecting on these changes fills me with happiness, peace, and immense gratitude.
It’s been a journey of awareness, learning what IS and what ISN’T, and embracing life as it comes.
Although the poem doesn’t reflect anymore the way I see life, it remains a testament to my personal growth.
It’s a beautiful reminder of where I started and how far I’ve traveled on this path of self-discovery and spiritual evolution.
