A Fresh Look at Life, Business, and Finances.
For many years, I built my life around specific strategies for success – both in business and in life.
I taught these principles to thousands of students, sharing my insights on how to achieve financial freedom and wealth.
I don’t regret those ideas; they’ve led me to where I am today.
But as I was getting closer to 50, I found myself questioning many of those ideas.
Maturity brought with it a new perspective, and I began to see things differently.
This realization prompted me to give a lecture in my last financial training (The Wealth&Wisdom Weekend on December 2017), summarizing the advice I would give myself if I could live my life over again.
These aren’t regrets but reflections – ways I would approach life, work, and finances with the wisdom I’ve gained over the years:
- I would own only what’s essential
- I would only buy second-hand stuff
- I would barter more
- I would pay in cash and avoid debt
- I would fix what’s broken instead of throwing it away
- I would travel differently
- I would minimize and simplify
- I would save most of my money for retirement
- I would choose a life of sustainability
These reflections are not about right or wrong but about perspective.
I thought it would be a good idea to post the video of the lecture here to remind me how perspectives change and so are not “THE TRUTH”.
