1997 – Wedding Bliss and Baby Kisses.

New Beginnings, Endless Love.

There’s no doubt about it, the day our amazing daughter, Thom, burst into our world was the absolute highlight of my life.
It was May 1, 1997, and I shared this incredible experience with my loving partner, Yoni, which made it even more magical.

From the very beginning, we were determined to raise Thom in a way that would help her blossom into the incredible person she was destined to be.
We wanted to nurture her unique spirit and give her the best possible start in life.

Now, our parenting style might have raised a few eyebrows (or more!) back then. We chose to bed-share with Thom until she was three, creating a safe and loving bond.
And those precious early months? She was our little koala, clinging to Yoni or me almost constantly. It was our way of making her feel secure and loved.

Living far from family gave us the freedom to parent without too many outside opinions.
But let’s be honest, when my younger sister, Yael, tied the knot just three months after Thom was born, I knew there would be fireworks!
Our parenting choices were definitely a hot topic back home. Despite the potential for family drama, I was determined to introduce them to our little bundle of joy.

This picture captures the pure joy of that day. I’m beaming with pride as I hold my precious girl in her first sling, surrounded by the excitement of my sister’s wedding. Little did I know, this simple baby carrier would soon be replaced by something completely different as Thom grew and our parenting journey continued.
