From Classroom Dreams to an Off-the-Grid Reality.
After the success of our “Leadership From The Heart” program in 2004, Yoni and I realized we wanted to take things up a notch.
We wanted to make our teachings more accessible, to help more people live fulfilling lives.
So, we created Life-Skills University, a program designed to equip people with the tools they never learned in school but desperately needed to thrive.
The idea was simple: five weekends a year, packed with life-changing skills.
The grand finale? A weekend dedicated entirely to creativity and designing your dream life.
And the cherry on top? A massive party where participants would show up as the person they envisioned themselves to be in five years.
It wasn’t just a costume party; it was a chance to step into the future and truly embody their dreams.
We encouraged everyone to dream big—really big.
People showed up with their “Oscars” and “Nobel Prizes,” some rented limos, while others embraced simpler, heartfelt goals, like a woman dressed as a mother-to-be, carrying photo albums of the children she dreamt of having.
Yoni and I were all in, too. We even brought Thom along, letting her join in on the fun and see that her parents weren’t always the serious adults she thought we were. Those parties were pure magic, full of laughter, dreams, and the kind of energy that makes you believe anything is possible.
In 2007, while others dreamed of yachts and riches, my vision was different.
I yearned for simplicity—a life on an island, waking up naturally, surrounded by nature, and just… being.
Little did I know that within ten years, this would be our reality.
Now, in 2024, I’ve come to believe that while we may not have complete control over our destiny, we do have the power to co-create it with Life itself.
With clear intentions and a willingness to listen to what Life offers, we can craft the best possible version of our lives.
Today, Yoni and I live exactly the life I envisioned back in 2007—on an island, off-the-grid, in a beautiful home, free from stress, and simply enjoying every moment.
It’s a life that was once just a dream but is now our everyday reality.
