2012 – Brad Pitt vs. Nisandeh Neta.

The Ultimate Spoof: Our Take on the Brad Pitt Chanel No. 5 Ad!

In one of my 3-day marketing trainings, I demonstrated the absurdity of big-budget brand advertising by showcasing the infamous Brad Pitt Chanel No. 5 ad.

The ad was so over-the-top that it left my audience in stitches – and sparked an idea.

As we debriefed later, the team couldn’t stop joking about the $7 million Pitt pocketed for such a simple ad.
That’s when someone dared me to create my own version.
I took the challenge seriously and spent the night crafting a parody script.

The next evening, after the last session, the entire team gathered to film our spoof.
We had so much fun that we couldn’t stop laughing during takes.
Finally, around 10 PM, Bas, our chief AV guy, called it a wrap and edited the footage.

The result?
A hilarious parody that the next day, the participants demanded multiple replays and insisted we share it with the broader community.

The lesson?
Effective advertising doesn’t need “stupid money”; it needs creativity and a sense of humor.

Watch the video below and enjoy the laughs as we poke fun at the world of luxury advertising!
